There’s just not enough strength in your original clearcoat to hold up against the elements on the road. As long as surface oxidation has not rooted itself into the paint finish yet, it can be removed and prevented from spreading further. SkyGloss’ ReGloss Kit will help seal in the porous clearcoat that allows oxidation to start and help prevent it from getting worse. In some cases we can even completely eliminate it. However, it is important to know that there is no way to guarantee it won’t come back or start in other places at some point in the future. ReGloss applies a permanent clearcoat to your vehicle when applied correctly. If there is no clearcoat on the vehicle (as in its peeled off) there is no way of knowing how long that will last. If applied properly to an existing healthy clearcoat, it will bond permanently.  That doesn’t mean that new damage won’t come as you drive. Unfortunately, new wear & tear is inevitable, and all clearcoat will slowly wear down over time. However, your new, thicker & stronger SkyGloss clearcoat will help your car look revitalized and become much stronger. There is no warranty on the length it will last as it varies from car to car, and skill of preparation and/or application.

The exact total time it takes depends on the specific vehicle and the skill of the individual (or team) applying. It is reasonable to estimate that if you spent 1 hour watching our training videos online that would be sufficient to achieve a good result. Yes, absolutely. Once your vehicle’s exterior paint finish is restored you can put a PPF film, wax sealants, ceramics, or any type of protection product over it. You can treat it basically like a brand new paint finish. However, ReGloss will not fix all damage on a vehicle. Adding additional protection will only help your car stay glossy and vibrant for longer.
